Welcome to my introductory blog post. This section of my site is for those who want more content from me than a book or two a year. Whether you're looking for behind-the-scenes info about upcoming projects, my thoughts on books/movies/music/games, or author spotlights to learn more about other writers you might enjoy, this will be the place to go.
First up will be a series of posts wherein I delve deep into my favorite book series growing up...GOOSEBUMPS! I will be re-reading the original series (that's 62 books if you aren't a super fan like me), then writing a Goosebumps Revisited blog post discussing three books at a time. If you grew up reading them or are just curious to see what I think about them now through the eyes of a 40-year-old man, it should be a good time. I'm not going to commit to a specific timeline for each post, but I'm optimistic about being able to read three of them and write a post at least every month or two. I've already read the first three, so Goosebumps Revisited issue one will be coming soon.
Also coming soon will be the first author spotlight post. If my time being part of the writing community these last couple years has taught me anything, it's that there's no better way to support the authors you like than by reading, reviewing, and telling other people about them. With that in mind, I'll be spotlighting up-and-coming authors I enjoy and recommending titles for you to check out. I'd like to work in a few interviews as well. We'll see how it goes, but I'm excited to spread the word about some amazing authors in the horror community.
